Hello UBP 2010!!!

Ok so I have never done a blog party before and go figure I will be out of the country for most of it!! Hehe I just like saying out of the country..sooo any who  here goes nothing!

Hello all you bloggers out there and welcome to my humble crazy blog!  I am a wife to a wonderful man, Mr. M, and a mother to 2 beautiful girls, DD1 and DD2. Mr. M is active duty Army and we are currently stationed in Germany.  We love to travel and taste test our way across Europe and try to do as much of it as we can.  For now I am a SAHM and absolutely love my job..that is except for the cleaning part.. I would not change anything for the world.  I did manage to get a degree while taking care of my two precious crazy monkey  girls along the way and hope to one day actually use it for something.

The one on top..the really big one..is Tiger and to the left the plump but smaler one is TJ.  They love to sit with me and keep me company while I talk to all of you!






Now I know I will be a slacker on this party for a while because we will be in Paris but I promise promise promise that I will definitely blog as much as I can when we get back!! Please don't forget me while I am gone!!! PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!!!!!!  I love new friends and will definitely have tons of cool pics to share with you when we get back!!

5 Question Friday and some new stuff!!

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it's Friday and not only that but the first day of Spring break for us!! Woohooooo!! You know what that means?!!!!!!  We will be leaving for Paris in 3 days..omg I can't believe it is finally here!!  Oh la la Paris!! I am so ready!
First let's get to the Friday fun with Mama M. !!

1. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Ohhh this is a good one!!  So I totally need to be played by Meg Ryan..she is beautiful, funny, talented and well...me!! Haha!

2. Did you ever go to summer camp?

Yes I went to summer church camp for several years and loved it!

3. What sends you running and screaming in the other direction?
Ummm I would just say some bugs but really spiders have no effect on me unless they are gigantimo,however, when we lived in Georgia they had these bugs that they called "waterbugs" well let me tell you folks they were not bugs that lived in water..no siry honey..these suckers were nuclear gigantic cockroaches and they could fly!! Oh yeah how bad do you hate roaches? Well imagine them 10 times bigger and they can fly at you!! Scarey?!! Terrifying honestly!!

4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?

Hmmmmm...so many choices really..I would have to go with "stupidity".  He can't stand when people act like they are dumb to get away with stupid things. I mean if you break the law take your punishment and stop acting like you didn't do it or it was someone elses fault right!? Yupp he hates that.
Personally though...he absolutely hates when I say "whatever" to him. The funny part is he says it all the time to me so when he says it I always say "what did you say?" He hates that too!  Hehe  I luvs my huny!

5. What is currently your favorite song?
Ok well I have a lot of favorite songs but for a while now I have been totally in love with this song and will choose it above all others when I am working out.It is  Josh Groban's "February Song". This song touches me so deep and is so beautiful and I could sing it...no really belt this sucker out..in the truck driving down the road and not care who sees me!! LOL

Thoughtful Thursday...ummmm ok...

Well I have been so off track lately with my bloggings and such..soooooooooooooryyyyyy!!!!  It has been busy and hectic here and as I am trying to get myself back into a normal routine with working out first thing in the morning and running errands then doing all my housework it has appeared to me that the house has fallen waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down on the list!!  Whoopsie did I do that?!! Ok so housework is like my passion...baahaaahaaa you didn't believe that did you?!! For real I can not stand cleaning my house and would absolutely die if Mr. M every decided to let me hire a house cleaner even once a week to do all the really dirty stuff..you know like dusting, moving furniture to vaccumm and of course windows...yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!  Until that day comes though unfortunately my family just has to deal with a semi-clean house and a happy MOM!! Isn't that what life is all about anyway..mom's being happy!?! I swear I read that somewhere or heard it somewhere!! Any who so busy yes very busy but all kids are registered in school for next year, all shots up to date, workouts going very well if I do say so myself and of course dinner always done..house well let's just say it's not condemable and leave it at that!!

I have been scrambling all week to get everything we need for our Spring break trip..did I tell you where we were going for Spring break??  Of course I did I swear I have told just about everyone I know bc I am soooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!  Can you tell I am excited?!! For real don't look at me like that I grew up poor and never went anywhere...ok that is such a lie I mean I was born in Germany and probably went to 10 different countries before I could even walk..but the point is I don't remember any of it so it's like I have never been..yeah yeah that's it!!!  Again with the face??  Ok I never claimed to be sane but you have to admit my craziness is comical right!?!  right? No?  Oh well it is to me!  So snacks all bought and probably too many to fit in Mr. M teeny weeny tiny car..unlike my big truck which we can't take because people in Europe don't believe in nice big comfy vehicles they all drive little poopy cars...yes I said it you European people.  So taking the uncomfortable,teeny tiny..did i say tiny....car to Paris and spending 4 blissful days running around trying to see as much as we possibly can. Yay for us!!!!

Once all of the official touristy spots have been hit and we have taken the Siene river cruise and seen the Eiffel tower all lit up at night then the fun really begins. We can stroll through the markets and shop and shop and shop and eat and eat and eat..did I say shop?!!!  Heeheee  I am so ready and the kids are so ready and Mr. M is even totally stoked for this one!  You see normally we trip without him because he almost never gets time off but this time he made sure he was off!!!!! Woohoooooooooooooooooo

Ok so I have to run now and sorry I babbled so much..you would think it was rambling Wed but it is not and you would be wrong..wrong I tell ya...I can't help it though I do tend to ramble every now and then.

Catch up time!!!!

OOOOOk!! So I had a busy weekend and then of course no internet for over a day..AAArrrgghhhhh!!  So here is a little catch up blog for all the things I have told you about but never really blogged about..MY bad!!!

So I told you a while back that I had gotten totally addicted to this stamping thing and had decided to label my baskets on the front shelf. I bought this shelf with the total intention of making it easier for me to put all the kids stuff away during the day and saving me from walking back and forth..it worked!!!  Yay for me and for them for listening!!  However, there was still argument over whose basket belonged to whom.  So I fixed it with labels and they turned out really cute...

Of course as you can see the little one's basket never really seems to be empty but  hey atleast it is in the basket and not all over my living room.  YYYessssss!!!  Mission accomplished!

Ok now onto our Spring craft....the girls were dying to do something especially since I kind of flaked on a valentines craft...Bad mommy!!  So I stole an idea from an advertisement at the commisary and off we went..

Now once they were done..gorgeous?!! I know right!!  Sometimes I surprise myself..ok back to the blog.  I had to figure out a way to set them up on the table for our party that night so I took a styrofoam ball and wrapped it in pink cellophane and placed it in a crystal water glass and tadaaaaa......

Ok well before the party I actually had them set up too look like flowers but as you can see there were not many left over from the party. Score again!!!

Another little thing I did for Easter was make some cupcakes. Now I am not a huge cupcake maker just because in my perfectionist ways if they tops do not come out perfect I will scrap them and start all over..costly yes but I have not convinced my head yet that not so perfect cupcakes are ok to serve to people..one day maybe..yeah prob not!! Haha   Sooo any who  I made a dozen golden cake and a dozen strawberry cupcakes and the tops came out Perfect....look out Sprinkles..muahuahuahuah!!  So I iced them up..I suck at that but that it why I always do a decoration on top to hide that fact...genious I know!  And here they are...

 Did I tell you they turned out FABULOUS?!!! Huh did I??  Toot toot!!!

Ok so then onto DD2 coloring her own eggs...I told her she could only do 6 well because noone else will eat them besides me so why waste perfectly good eggs especially when we go through like 5 dozen every 2 weeks..yes we us some eggs!!  So here are her beautifully dyed eggs that were ohhh so good as deviled eggs as well..mmmmmm

She is such an artist don't ya think?  Haha, don't give her a big head now that is my job!! Baahaaaahaaaa!

Ok so all the fun stuff done at home..my back was killing me from cooking and baking and decorating all the day before but we went to the egg hunt.  No one can miss an egg hunt for your child..trust me it's like a right of passage to be able to mall..yes she did..and push..oh yeah she did that too....other kids to get to all the good eggs in hopes of having that one special egg in your basket that will win you that big cheap easter basket prize you want sooo much!!

She made a killing on eggs and managed to push a poor 1 yr old down in the process and elbow a few other kids but no prize egg..alas  she seemed to be proud of herself and had tons of candy to show for it..ohhhh mannn  I really need to come up with something else to put in eggs instead of friggin candy..Ughhhhh...

Did you get that face from your kids too?!!  That is the classic "look what I got" face and it is always accompanied by the "can I have, can I have" face!  Soooo 22 pieces of candy later..I counted wrappers as I picked them up off the ground...and a bbq that followed we were headed home to get ready for the party.

By Saturday night I was so ready to retire the Easter bunny and tell the kids that there was no more Easter baskets anymore...I would never do that..don't bash me...ok I might have done it but Mr. M wouldn't let me!!  He is such a pushover!!!  So we loaded baskets from the candy delivering bunny and off to bed we went..exhausted..sugar rushed and babbling something about never again knowing fully well we would be doing this all over again next year..why do we do this to ourselves?!!!

Ok so that is pretty much my weekend and a few other things added in.  I will hopefully still have internet so no more gaps in blogging!!  Thanks to all my new followers..welcome and I hope you stay for the madness and stupidity that is my life fun that we always have here!!

Oh and of course 5 days until Spring break...Paris here we come!!!  Yiipeeeeeeeee!!!

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?

Oh heck yeah!! Especially if I have some country going in the truck or else Josh Groban..mmmm I love him!!
I always wonder when people I know see me if they notice me belting out a song or not!! Haha

2. What would you never be caught doing?

Hmmm this is an interesting one...ummmm  hmmmm uuuuu...ok ok I got it!  I would absolutely never ever berate my kids in public or otherwise! I have seen way too much of this going on with strangers in public and I always want to step and say "grow up and treat your kid like you would want to be treated"! Huuuge pet peeve of mine!! Huuuuuge!!!

3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?

I absolutely hate to but if you gotta go you gotta go!  I mean babies poo wherever they are so I guess we should be used to it!  LOL

4. Have you ever broken a bone?

Baahaahaaa....ok this is so funny because Mr. M and I go round and round about this one. So about 13 years ago we were moving and I dropped a pyrex roasting pan on my foot and at the time it hurt REALLY REALLY BAD, but I swore I was fine. So apparently it was actually broken and healed all wrong so now I walk with a slight limp because it hurts to put pressure on it. He tells me all the time to go get it fixed but if I do that then I will be admitting he was right and I was wrong..now why would I do that?!!!  LOL

5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?
Ohhhhh absolutely baking!!  I love love love to bake and could seriously do it all day everyday with no complaining. My only problem is that I am perfectionist when it comes to baking and so Mr. M always gets mad at me because I will trash things if I don't think they are perfect and start over. Hence the reason I never make my own cakes for parties because it would cost less to pay someone else to make them!!  Yes I am crazy..who isn't?!!



Wow really good questions today..Yay!!!  So that is a little bit about me and everyone else should definitely go and do the questions for themselves!  I mean Fridays are cool enough already but 5 Question Friday just makes them that much more fun!!

For those who were wondering about my prank I pulled on DD1 last night...well..I put a raisin in her toothpaste so when she went to brush her teeth she would think there was a bug in her toothpaste. Now this would have worked out beautifully however apparently I put the raisin in too early on in the day and the wet from the toothpaste made it swell and so it got stuck in the tube...daggnabbit!!  So I waited and waited and then when she came out of the bathroom I went in and saw it was stuck and then had to waste a bunch of toothpaste just trying to get the raisin out...Ughhh!  Don't worry for all you health freaks I am buying her new toothpaste today!  LOL

Ohhh I am so excited for our Spring break trip to Paris that I am starting a count down..Woohooooo!!!

I am sure all will be thrilled to see my incredibly stupid lovely countdown every day until we leave!!
I have had a busy and yet rather slow week so far..it amazes me how even when I swear I have nothing major going on I never seem to have enough time in the day to get everything done..hmmmmm!! 

Today was hilarious as far as April fools goes but I did not really get anyone....yet!!! Muahuahuahuah....oh yes it is coming when everyone gets ready for bed tonight I will be rolling on the floor laughing my derriere(see I am already getting my French going..haha) off!  I will tell you all about it tomorrow and if it was a success or not. Mr. M is like the king of jokes and sarcasm so I might fail miserably but cross your fingers for me that I finally found something to get my clever little family with!!!   OMG  I am so excited to see if it works!!! Are you curious yet?!!  You will have to return to my blog tomorrow to see what I did...clever right?!!!  I have to have something to keep you all interested in my mindless jibberish!! Haha!

We have a busy weekend...well really a busy Saturday planned. Easter egg hunt with Mr. M's work and we always have a good time with all of them and the girls absolutely love all the people he works with which is great!  After that we get rush home so I can finish making the food for my Partylite party..now when I say party I am so speaking out of derriere(there I go again..hehe) because so far I have 1 confirmed guest...LMAOOOOO!!  Go ahead I think it is funny myself!  Any who so I am making a ton of food for so far my family and a few extra people. There will be wine though so it's all good!  I will drink, eat, chat and have a good time no matter how many people show up.  I have never been a big party thrower as far as products go but I can throw a mean party...toot toot!!  So we shall see how it all turns out and hopefully as long as the people who do show up have a good time and get enough food and drink then I will consider it a success..yes I have very low standards..don't pick on me!!  Hummpfffff!

Well enough rambling for me..see what happens when I get busy and don't get my Wednesday rambling session in!!  I better go finish dinner before Mr. M gets home and wants to know why there is raw chicken on the stove...baaahaaahaaaa!!!
