So many trip possibilities in Europe. I loved the Cinque Terre in Italy. You can get a cheapish flight to Pisa from Frankfurt Hahn on Ryanair, then take the local "milk train" (about a 45 minute ride). Very quaint and romantic.
No ideas, Our little guy is turning two next monday. We having a little party at home for him....
Its weird and scary what kids can pick up and determine. Too funny about the adoption thing.

I hear you about the tan legs, I have a staff basketball game on Friday night and the gym is always hot... Shorts and my legs might scare the students away.
