Weekend adventures and last minute ideas...

Ok so I am so glad I am finally done planning our trip to Amsterdam in a few weeks. The hotel is booked, maps printed off and a travel book bought, highlighted and dog eared...ready!!! So as I am messing around with mapquest...it's a goofy hobby of mine to find a place and see how far it is from us...I decided to put in Brussels. Brussels was one of our must do weekend excursions for the year and all be doggon if it isn't just a few hours drive from Amsterdam. Soooo back to the drawing board I added a few thing to our Amsterdam trip and we are now going to Brussels on the way home to see minieuorpe!!  Yayyyy I love when cool thing happen like that!!!!

So tomorrow since there is nothing really major going on with us this weekend a friend asked me to go to a fleamarket with her in France...heck yeah!!!!  I thought it was a little silly of her to ask and just not tell me what time she was picking me up....I mean come on of course I want to go so just tell me the time and I am there..for real!!!  So today we are doing a few organizational shopping trips. I am trying to find some good baskets or crates to put in DD2's new shelf and then tomorrow it is off to France to hopefully find great and wonderful finds!!  Cross your fingers for me that something fabulous jumps out and grabs me and has a price to die for please!!!!!

Have a great weekend  ya'll and I wll be back tomorrow or Monday to update with all my news, find and of course pics!!!

5 Question Friday!!!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!  One of my most favorite days of the week is Friday!!  Can you tell?!?!  haha!!

Ok so it's time once again for all the cool kids, that's moi,  to run on over to Mama M's and grab that cute little button, the one down below silly, and have fun answering random questions about yourself! What could be more fun right?!?!  Sooo let's roll....

1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose?

Every year Mr. M and I donate to whatever children's cause we feel like. My favorite is the Make a wish foundation of course but there are so many others out there that deserve a shot too so we make it a different one every year. If I had $1000 to donate to any charity though above what we do every year it would definitely be to a cancer fund and I would make the donation in my little brother's name of course.

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt?
That really depends on if it is a real snow day or just a day off because they never used their snow days in the year. If it is a real snow day then we can go play in the  snow and who doesn't love that right?!  However, if it is just a random day off then I say..pooooeyyy!!  Unless of course it is given in the Spring when the weather is nice and we can do an extended trip or something then I say...heck yeah!!!

3. What talent did you wish you had and why?
Oh this one is so easy to answer for me....I wish I was one of those people who can walk into a room and just start talking to total strangers and turn an akward situation into a fabulous one!! Alas, I am extremely shy and when I first meet people it has to show it's ugly head and I usually will be the one sitting at a table all alone until someone else I know comes in or someone like the way I wished for comes up to me and says something. Sighhhh..it really sucks!!

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie?
OMG I can not stand gossip in any form!!!   Of course I love to hear about celebrities and of course whenever I go to California to visit my bestie we go hunting down the blacked out suvs and scope out all the good places to try and see them but that is not really gossip..is it?!?!?! I would say I am a celebrity stalker junkie if anything!! teeheee

5.  What is your favorite "cocktail"? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the "Cosmo" kind?! Anything flies...doesn't hafta be alcoholic!)

Hmmm my favorite.....ummmmmm...I guess I would have to say my favorite has always been blended drinks like strawberry daquiris or pina coladas, but since we have lived here and the local restaurant we frequent serves this thing they call Miami Ice it is definitely my fav!!  It's basically just strawberry daquiri and pina colada but they don't mix them up. They put pina on the bottom of the glass and then strawberry on the top so it's a different taste with every sip and I loooove it!!
Ok so there you have all my intimate secrets....ohhh that sounds saucy doesn't it?!!! So go up there and click that button, meet Mama M(she's fabulous!) and get your Friday questions on!!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone and to all my newest followers.. welcome, thank you and I hope you stick around for a long long time!!

Blizzard Blog Hop!!

There are so many things that I love about blogging but blog hops are one of my absolute favorite things to do!! I have met some really fabulous bloggers and ended up with some really great people whom I consider friends now. Is that wierd that I have friends I have never met?! hmmmm..ohhh sorry I got distracted for a milisecond. Ok so Ann Marie over at Household 6 Diva is doing this blizzard blog hop for all of us who are unable to attend an actual physical blog hop due to weather, location, or whatever reason it is. You all know you love a good blog hop so hop on over to Ann Marie's and get your hop on yourself!!

For those joining today from the blog hop...Welcome to my crazy insane fabulously lovely world!! I am a thirty....something  wife to an Army soldier and we are currently stationed overseas in Germany. We have 2 beautiful daughters and absolutely love traveling around Europe and attempting to try and hit as many countries as we possibly can while we are here. We also have 2 fat well fed and happy cats whom we love to dote on and I am always amazed at some of the irritatingly crazy precious things they do on a daily basis.
If you love travel, good food, fabulous shopping and all the craziness that comes along with being a family then please be sure to come back and keep following me and our lives.
I love to find other military families on here especially since it is so hard to moving around constantly and having a constant with my blogger buddies is really a neat thing. If you are a military spouse by all means please let me know so I can add you to my list and keep in touch!

I hope all of you really enjoy the blog hop and like I said my life is a slight bit crazy so give me time to return messages. I will get to everyone but I am a little slower then others sometimes.  Yes I am special and totally worth it though!! Sheeesh now you made me toot my own horn!! Ok   chow ya'll!!!

Great finds, Total misses and the kindness of strangers..

Ok so I am not really sure where my days have gone lately. I know I promised you all a ton of stuff for this weekend and all be doggonit if I didn't flub that up!!  I am so done with saying sorry but I will say this to you all....life lately is Fabulous!!!!!  We have been busy and busy and oh so busy and I am loving every minute of it.

We have our plans set for next month going to Amsterdam and I have no idea how we are going to fit everything in just a few days but I don't care because we are going and will just have to make it work!! Sooooo excited to go there!!

I am finishing up our plans for Berlin and should hopefully have all of that set up by the end of next month. Hotel reserved and maps in hand but I still need to get a few passes and a few more pages printed out of what all we are doing and then set up the agenda for us. Yes I am one of those people who needs a plan when I travel. When I don't have a plan we end up...well..like New Years Eve..lost and Mr. M hates to get lost!!  So it takes me a while to plan out our trips and make sure all of our ducks are in a row.

Now our weather lately has been coockoo crazy!!  One day it's nice and then BAM it will just start sleeting or snowing or raining out of nowhere.  I really can't stand the weather here sometimes, but I have to make it work since I only have a little over  a year left here and so much more to get done and see.
Mrs. Jamaicagirl and I have been thrift shopping and trying to find as many different places as we can so as to expand our collection of lovely artifacts from Europe (junk as Mr. M calls it).  Yesterday we drove all over town and ended up only going in 1 place but that was a great find!!  I ended up getting a fabulous picnic basket and get this ya'll...the tag was still on it!!! Oh yeah this puppy was brand new and it was screaming my name!!
How flippin' cute is that right?!!?!!
Ok kind of a bad pic but I am no pro ya'll so that is the best I could get.  If you notice there are 2 slots for wine bottles and a big place to put your plates and flatware as well as a zippered, insulated compartment on the left to put your cheese, meat, crackers and yum yums!!  For real ya'll we are having a picnic one day soon just so I can use this bad boy!! Yipeee!!!

So along with the basket I ended up finding this fabulous shelf for DD2. I had been looking at one from IKEA that I really loved and thought would work great for her but this one was bigger then the one at IKEA and a whole lot cheaper..
 Cute right?!
As you can see DD2 has started to try and organize it herself! lol  I will actually get it all put together but I need to get her a few baskets first.
I did love how she made the bottom right cube a bed for her cat though!! Isn't she the sweetest thing ever?!  I can totally see her cat sleeping in there too or maybe be shoved in there by DD2 and just staying to save herself from being shoved in there twice! Haha!

So you see I have not been blogging because I really do have a lot going on and a ton more shopping and planning to do.
I do want to say though that shelf is huge and HEAVY!!  We got it home and Mr. M decided that he was going to move it right then without me being able to ask anyone to help us. He is stubborn like that!! I am sure you all have men who are the exact same way...you wanna slap em don't ya?!!  Ok maybe that's just me!  Anywho as as Mr. M, myself and Mrs. Jamaicagirl are trying our hardest to manipulate this monstrous shelf up 2 steps on our own we lost it!  Somehow the shelf had come down and right on my hand and I felt the vein pop as it did!! Can you say OWWWWWW???!!!!  OMG it hurt so bad!!!  So apparently as I am screaming in pain and Mrs. Jamaica girl dropped the shelf to see what happened and Mr. M is grunting trying to hold it up on his own around the corner comes....my hero!!  Some random man who heard me scream in pain and came running to see us trying to get this thing up the stairs. Now not only did he say "are you alright?" but he then asked myself and Mrs. Jamaicagirl to step aside and he would help us.  For real ya'll!!!!  I have always loved that some people are just kind enough to make you feel like the world is good and this man should win an award!!  He says to Mr. M "just tell me this isn't going to the 3rd floor?" To which Mr. M just smiles and says" Uhhhhh yupp!"  Now the hero could have quit right then and said ok nevermind but no he said "ok well let's get this going then" HERO!!!!!  You know it only take one person to make your day feel great and that man made me realize that all is good in the world and there are some people who would stop everything they were doing just to help out another person. When we got the shelf upstairs and I asked the man "please can you let me know how I can thank you?" He said to me, pointing to Mr.M,"he is doing us all a service by serving his country and that was the least I could do for him"  Ok yes I wanted to cry and I just shook the man's hand and thanked him repeatedly on his way out the door.

Ok so now that you are all done laughing at my  nonsense, boo boos and hope stories I had promised you all some pictures of my Christmas presents a long time ago.  Here are the infamous Coach shoes and my lovely new watch from Mr. M..

Gorgeous right?!!  Heck yeah I am going to take dang good care of these puppies because I love them!!
I am so glad to finally have a watch on again!! I missed not having a watch and was always looking at my wrist with lost eyes...according to Mr. M anyways!  It is very shiny and Mr. M explained to me that it is a new watch that does not ever need a battery!! Oh yeah he learned his lesson from breaking my old watch.  Hmmm did I ever tell you that story?! Let's just say this...I had a beautiful watch that Mr. M bought me for Christmas one year and the battery had died on it. Well apparently Aafes does not have the proper tool needed to take the back off of these kinds of watches and so Mr. M forced it open and I bought a new batter and then couldn't get the back on again. So Mr. M does what he always does..doesn't listen to me!!  I said do not bang on the back you will break the front of the watch..he banged on it!!  I said do not try to bang it on on the marble table top it will really break the front...he banged on it on the marble table!! Needless to say I ended up with a very expensive watch with a dented back that still wasn't on and a broken face.  Yes men love to feel all manly like they can do anything but in the end we spent more money on a new watch just because he didn't listen to me..hmmm!!

Ok so have a fabulous day everyone and I will see you back here soon!!

5 Question Friday!!

Ok so this week has been a little more boring then usual and I am sorry for that ya'll!! So much has been going on but honestly since Mr. M got home our lives have just gotten crazier. I thought for sure with him home it would be easier and having the help would be awesome but somehow we just fall right back into the madness that is our lives without even blinking. It's puzzling really...no really it's a little freaky deaky!!  Sooo anywho  I have so much to say and so much to share with you all and I think this weekend just might be my time to get you all caught up on our lives and the things that have come and gone and come back again. I will do my best to try and get as much in as I can and also I know I owe you all some pics of things that I promised waaaaay back when so I will try to ge that done also. For today though just sit back and relax and enjoy today's questions. You might even click that button up there and get in on the fun yourself....DO IT!!!

1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?
Haha ok so if you have been following me for a while now you remember my blogs I used to do about traveling back in time and telling you all about how Mr. M and I came to be such a fabulously happily married couple. You can read it  here
It really is a funny story but of course it has a beautiful ending..sighhhhhh. Aint love grand?!
2. What is your favorite room in your house?
I would have to say that right now my favorite room in the house is my living room/dining room. Now we live in a rather teeny tiny itty bitty house. Well actually it's a teeny tiny itty bitty apartment but for sanity sakes we will call it a house. It makes me feel better let it go ya'll!!!  So I tried to make the most of our house and the living/dining room is my favorite part.
3. Can you wiggle your ears?
Yes I can! My girls think it is hilarious and honestly I think it's a little creepy.

4. What is your evening ritual?
Evening ritual?!!  What is that?!  Ok so Mr. M and I finally decide to hit the hay and he gets up and goes to take a shower. I clean  everything up in the living room and turn all the lights off. He gets out of the shower and I go take a shower and then I turn the lights out.  I guess that is our routine...you know what it seems like I do everything hmmmmm. I am going to have to work on that one..for reals!!

5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
Ok so function would be the key word in that question really. I can get about 6 hours of sleep and make it through the day but I am not so sure I "function" well or even that anyone around me will enjoy my company. Now if I get a full 8 hours of sleep you can bet your behind I am good to go. I will wake up happy, smiling and ready to start a new day.  Don't you love it when you wake up and you feel all happy like you just dreamed that you lived in the most beautiful place on earth and were married to the most wonderful man on earth and had the most perfect wonderful kids on earth?! Hmmmmm maybe I need more sleep!!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone and I will be back here tomorrow to fill you all in our lives...no really I will!!  Don't judge me?!!!!

Just one of my many European purchases that I love to death and just wanted to share with you all!!  Now go get your market bag and fall in love with it as I have.

It's Saturday...what?!!?!!?!!?

Ok ok I know I never ever post on a Saturday because...well...usually I am not at home and we are out on some great adventure or something, but today you all are so lucky because I am at home and so you get to listen to me. Stop! Stop! No applause now and listen up.

So I have been trying to keep busy with Mr. M gone and it has all come down to this...a sick kid, a messy house, and only a day left until he actually gets here. GREAT!!!  I am so lucky let me tell ya!  I know you all are probably thinking..what is her problem? right?! Well I will tell you what my problem is...nothing just been feeling a little lazy lately. Maybe because with so much on our plates right now and Mr. M gone it has all just kind of seemed surreal. Of all the times I wished I had something to do instead of being stuck at home it seems that the past 2 weeks have flown by and yet I have not been idle in my house even once. My poor house looks like a tornado went through it...oh did I forget to mention for some crazy reason I decided to start my Spring cleaning and pack up a bunch of knick knacks and try to declutter this place?!!?  Oh yeah just picture newspaper and boxes all over the place, a china hutch half filled now, and junk(I do mean my prized posessions but for now we will stick with junk) all over my house!!
I have less then 24 hours to get this house back in shape and get everything done or else Mr. M is going to come home and wonder how I ever live without him and we just can't have that now can we ladies?!!  HECK NAAAHHHH!!   So today I will be cleaning and organizing and finishing as much as I can before tomorrow morning. Ughhhhhh!!

Oh oh did I happen to mention how I woke up this morning all ready to get started on this house and discovered I had no creamer?!!  I am sure you all know I am a coffee addict and now add to it that I have no creamer so I am drinking coffee with milk....yyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!  I will have to be going out to get some creamer today too. OOhhhhh god that reminds me I have fish in the freezer and the fridge and that has to be gone before Mr. M comes home(he is severely allergic)!! Hmmmm so I am thinking shrimp for lunch, salmon for dinner and then a total house scrub down to get rid of any fish oils lingering around the house.
Wooooooaaahhhhh I am so glad I remembered that now or that could have been a huge issue.

Ok so I am off to clean, cook and organize and I will be sure to update you all on our comings and goings over the rest of the holiday weekend when I return. Oh for any of you wondering our plans for travel this year so far are going very well and I am anxiously awaiting Spring break this year. Berlin with the family and Paris with the girls!!!  Oh yeah I think this year is going to be grand!!

Ciao for now!

5 Question Friday!!

1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?
Wow I have to pick one?!!  I guess I would have to say...Dirty Dancing.  I could watch that movie repeatedly for a whole day and still sing every song, dance every dance and love every minute of it.  The second one was HORRIBLE!!  Are you listening producers because that movie suuuuuuuucked!!  Nice try! No Patrick Swayze and no Jennifer Grey and you lost me completely.

2. What's your biggest pet peeve right now?
Ohhhh Ok I have one right now that is about to drive me insane....it's people who are so miserable with their own lives that they decide to try and make everyone else around them miserable as well.  Right now there is a woman who seriously needs a slap in the face and to be told what a B she is but she is lucky I have not ran into her yet!  If you are that unhappy in your life then do something about it and stop trying to make every one else around you miserable too!!  Just wait it's coming ya'll and maybe a few posts about how much trouble I got into or something but it. is. coming!!!!

3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?
Reliable, trustworthy, comforting, fabulous, mine!! Love you Jam Jam!!

4. If you did not have to worry about money or go to school what would you do for a living?
Ohhh so I have been thinking about this a LOT lately. With Mr. M thinking about what he wants to do when he retires I have thought a lot about what I could do also. Something that I would love to go to work for so it wouldn't bother me going and also something with flexibility so I can still be around for my girls any time they need me and my dream is....Realtor!! Yupp I said it. I want to sell houses.  I love looking at houses for sale and I would love the opportunity to fit people with their dream house. I want to contract a house, stage it and sell the crap out of it!!!  Ohhh I get all excited every time I think about it.

5. What is your one "splurge" item, that you will always buy, no matter the cost?
Ohhhhh Ok so now I gotta spill the beans eh?!!!  Well it probably isn't that big of a deal to anyone really but to me it is heaven on earth and will probably always be. I am totally addicted to COACH!!!  There I said it.  I have been buying and using Coach products since I can remember. I probably have just about everything you could possibly use from them also. I have handbags, wallets, cd case, glasses case, contact lense case, umbrella, scarves, gloves, hat, day runner, photo holder, passport holder, bracelet, rings, necklace, lanyards for my girls for school, shoes, and I am sure there are more but I just can't think of it.  Yupp I love Coach and will probably be buying it until the day I die. I might actually request to be buried full clothed in it. Hmmmmm  now the ideas are flowing..ohhhhh how I love theee!!!!
Ok so I did my questions and made my confessions now it is your turn. Click that button up there, meet Mama M and get your questions on yourself!!  It's so much fun how could not want to do it?!!!  For reals!!!!!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone and I will be back to fill you in on all the fun we have been doing..mall, shopping, swimming, get togethers with friends, daquiris, pina coladas, and of course Mr. M coming home!!  Yeeeehaaaaaaaaawwww!!!!

5 Question Friday!!

1. What is your current favorite book, and why?
Ok so I just ordered this book and have been totally ignoring house work to read it! It is incredible and a true story. This woman is a total inspiration to me and to a million other women. If you have not read this book you absolutely have to!!
More then meets the eye:The Joan Brock story..order it here
All I can say is..Fabulous!!

2. Do you go to the dentist regularly?
I would love to say yes to this but..heeeeeck NO!!!  I need to go now but for some reason every time I think about making my appointment I go back to that scared little girl who hated the dentist. I do have very sensitive teeth and so slightly cold water hurts me. Every time I go to the dentist I am in pain so who would want to voluntarily put themselves through that?!  Yes I will make my appointment and I will go because I need to but it usually takes me a bit longer just to make the call.

3. What is your worst memory from High School?
I would have to say my absolute worst memory from High School would be almost getting caught sneaking out!! Yupp I said it!!  Ok so High School was pathetic to me and I just wanted it to be over with already because majority of my friends were all in college already and having the time of their lives but I had done so much work that my Senior year I have 3 free periods where I was either an office assistant, a teacher's helper or I had study hour. All 3 of those included a lot of free time and one day the teacher didn't need anything and my next class was study hour and then came lunch so I decided to take it upon myself to go home.  Uh huh you heard right!  I went out to my car and went home. Now of course like all teenagers we learn our lessons the hard way and of course that day was the one day my mother decided she needed to call the school to tell me something so when the office pages me and I didn't show up they wondered where I was. I luckily walked into the school just before lunch hour because I had already gone home and ate lunch and figured I would go grab my book and get my homework done while I was at it only to walk right into the office secretary who asked me why I didn't answer my page. Well I am daaang good under pressure ya'll so I simply said "oh I didn't hear it, it must have been when I was taking my bag out to my car"  Yupp you  got it!! I was a bad girl that day and got away with it...muahuahuah!!

4. What do you hope to be remembered for in your life?
There are so many things that I take pride in doing like all my volunteer work and constantly helping others with anything I can but all of that I do just because I think everyone should give back in some way or another. Mostly I just hope that I am remembered for being a great mom!  I hope that my girls grow up to be happy and healthy because I helped them along the way.

5. Are you superstitious or do you have any superstitions?
Ummmmmmmm.....this is a tough one for me. I do not consider myself superstitious but of course there are certain things I do religiously because of superstitions so I guess I sort of am in a way.
I never walk under a ladder, I totally cringe every time I see a black cat, I believe if you wash your car it will rain, and I knock on wood all the time!!

Ok those were kind of fun today!!  So click that button up there and get your own answers out!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

What is wrong with the world today?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Ok so this week has been a little hectic with school starting back up after Winter break and all the after school activities started back up as well and of course Mr. M being gone is not exactly helping things. I am in no way perfect let's get that straight first but there are very few things that will make me break let alone bend my morals in this world and yet there seems to be so many people these days that think it is ok to do just that!
Yesterday as I was standing outside my apartment I heard a woman making rude comments about me. Not only was she making rude comments about me but she was not shy about it at all..oh no folks she practically yelled them to make sure I could hear her.  Being the well mannered woman that I am and that I was raised to be I gave her a dirty look and left it at that. Now don't get me wrong because all I really wanted to do was smack her and give her a piece of my mind but again I was raised RIGHT!!

So I let that go until today as I was standing in line at the local coffee shop getting my usual..yupp they know me by drink there..anywho it was then that I heard that horrible, awful, rude, offensive voice once again. I didn't even have to turn around and I knew it was her. Once I had ordered my drink and made sure to chat a little bit longer then usual just to make her wait her turn even longer I turned around to walk away from the counter and looked in her direction.  Do you want to guess what she did?!! Oh well let me tell you then...she smiled at me with one of those evil, I am a snotty stuck up you know what kind of grins and I looked away.  She ordered her drink and the more the I heard her voice I wanted to turn around and give her a piece of my mind but again with my good mannered ways I just simply waited for her to walk away from the counter and then proceeded to tell my friend who works there that she was "a mean, horribly rude, horrible person" and I left.  My friend was laughing and believe it or not it felt sooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD!!  Yes I know I didn't really do anything except peel off her nice costume for my friend but still that felt good.  Ok go ahead and judge because I know you want to just remember if you get rude with me I might undress your nice costume one day..hahahaha  ok I couldn't resist!!! For reals ya'll I love you and you know it!!!

Ok so now we will totally skip the horrible meeting I went to where I felt that no one was really listening to me nor did they really care what I had to say except to tell me to email whatever it was....Yeah don't turn blue waiting on that email people!!  Word!! Haha
So skipping those niceties I will move on to tonight and me standing next to my truck wondering I didn't ask Mr. M to help me carry up all this junk out of my truck before he left and debating on whether or not I really wanted to do it or not and you will NEVER guess what happened...no no really NEVER!!   Oh yeah it was that baaaaaaaaaaaaad!!  If anyone has ever seen someone do something not only illegal, but immoral and so wrong it's not even funny you will totally get me on this one.  So again, me standing outside and watching one of those women whom I choose to call immorons(it's my word for immoral idiots bear with me) who always park in the residential parking spots so they can walk 2 feet less then the employee parking lot just across the street because they are...well...LAZY!!  Seriously people stop being so dang lazy and get a grip already!!  I am so tired...oh oh oh sorry I totally got off track..yupp that is one my sore spots..immorons.  Anywho so the immoron gets into her car and starts to back up and as I watch her backing up in my head I keep saying "wow she is really close to that Hummer"  Well yupp you guessed it she hit that sucker..and I am not just saying tapped it but hit it hard enough to shatter her brake light and I mean the entire thing and bring her back tire off the ground.  Oh yeah you see what I am talking about now?!! So as I see this I wait to see what she is going to do..all the while getting my cell phone out of my pocket ready to call someone. I start to walk towards her as I see her pull her car forward, get out of her car, walk over and look at the truck and look at her broken tail light and start to pick up the pieces. By this time I have started to walk towards to her to tell her I was calling someone to help and she looks up at me, gets in her car and leaves. YUPP you got it folks...hit and run!!!  I was so mad I stood there for what seemed like an hour just dumbfounded about what just happened and what to do now. Well I tore off down the street to try and see if I could get her liscense plate but of course my night vision is sooo bad all I could get was that it was a red car and she had local plates.  Well I make my call to a friend to ask what if anything they could do and then as I am talking to my friend and he is telling me yes they can do something about it I start to calm down. What, you mean all my efforts might actually pay off?!!  Ok now I am feeling better. I may not have had all the information but as I am talking and he is saying things to me like" well she has to come back to work tomorrow doesn't she" and "she can't fix her tail light overnight right" I am breathing a sigh of relief. She messed up and the fact that she was dumb enough to just disregard the fact that someone was there and saw her and the whole thing and think that she could just leave and get away with it she was WRONG!!  Ok ok I am totally going off the fact that she will not be smart enough or have the option of not driving that car to work tomorrow but who knows with someone who is cold enough to leave the scene of an accident you never know what they are capable of right?!  Let's hope that she gets caught and has to pay for what she did.

The moral of my whole day...you should really be careful how you treat people and what wrong things you do because you never know when you might run into them again. If you think you can get away with being rude or wrong think again people because there are so many more of us out there with actual morals and we WILL turn your sorry butt in and smile while doing the right thing!!

New Years Eve in France and all that good stuff!!

So not only did we end up having a last minute decision to spend New Years Eve in Strasborg, France but they still had a Christmas market going on and so it was double fun fun fun!!

We went bowling with a group of friends Thursday night and I said something about wanting to go to Strasborg, France which ended up being a group of people saying they all wanted to go too and next thing I knew we were making plans to meet at 10am and take off for a fun filled day in France..woohooo!!

We got there and it was cold, snowy and very busy but I didn't care and we had the best time ever. After parking in a parking garage and asking directions with my ohhhh so poor French and getting on 2 wrong shuttle buses and almost getting on the wrong tram we made it to the Christmas market. There were actually 2 parts to the market and we had a very long very cold walk all the way there fabulous time exploring the town trying to find the cathedral and the second half of the market.

this little french guy greeted us at the river..
ok ok this is sooo funny..NOT...we walked all the way around the city looking for the cathedral right and if you notice this sign it says cathedrale and St Nicolas parking garage...WHERE WE PARKED!! Ughhhhh!!  I never claimed to be the best navigator in the world..LOL!
ok so how cute are the present windows?!! Love them!
Oh the smells, the lovely, lovely smells of hot cocoa, gluhwein, gingerbread, and crepes!! Yummmm!!!
Of course there is always a merry go round and of course DD2 always has to ride it. Can you see her excitement!!?? Did I mention it was really really cold?!
What else can I say but....GORGEOUS!!
Ok so one day...seriously..I wil have a huge house to decorate just like this!!  For reals!!

It was a wonderful trip and the best New Years Eve I have definitely ever had!!

Happy New Year everyone!!
