PINT!!!!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's PINT!!!  Oh I love this day..sorry I'm a little late today I had a meeting. We will so get to that today...oyyyy!!!  So you know you want to and you know you love the post it notes as much as I do so click that button down there and get in on all the fun yourselves!!

So yes my life lately is meetings, coffee and more meetings and more coffee!! Of course I adore the whole coffee part and all but from now on I swear I am bringing my own seat cushion to these meetings. My poor behind has enough issues without going numb on a daily basis!!  Ok enough about my rear..sorry it was totally necessary to mention that part!!

Playmobil fun park...

So it has been another busy weekend but I made sure to make some time and blog...no no applause please!! *grins*

So last weekend we made it to Playmobil fun park and it was so much fun. The girls had a blast and even Mr. M and I were loving it! It is what the name says a fun park not an amusement park so no rides just a lot of playing. It is a place where you can act like a kid and enjoy seeing your kids having a blast!

Gigantic playmobil people were all over the park! They greeted you comning into the park..freaky and so cool!!

You could sit or stand next to a knight or a pirate.

You could climb on the pirate ship and walk the plank to get off.

You could even raft along side the pirate ship and hope you didn't get taken by pirates!! Arrghhhh!

You could even climb a giant dinosaur and pretend you were a caveman.

You could be taken prisoner at the castle and get locked up..hehe!!  We had to lock up the girls it was just so much fun!

You could go into the castle and be queen or king for a day and go in dungeon even.

You could even pan for gold and jewels left behind by the pirates from days gone by.

Once you were done outside there was a whole inside play area where you could play with a pirate ship, a castle, a cottage, the knights table or the dinosaur era.  Really pretty princess castle!!

This guy was guarding the bridge to the play area..how cute is he?!!  I really wanted to ride the horse but for some reason he would not listen to me..grrrrr!!










It was a fun time had by all and well worth the drive! If any of you have  a chance to one of these parks either in Europe or the States I highly reccommend going.

I have another busy week but will be sure to keep you all updated on everything going on in our fabulously crazy lives!!

Just a small mention...Happy Birthday to my dear little brother today..hopefully the angels are throwing him a great party!! Love and miss you!!

5 Question Friday!!

I am so happy that Friday is finally here!! I swear this week has just been one gigantic blur!!  Holy moly it went by way too fast..oh well life must go on so here goes. I will definitely update all of you on the happenings of last weekend soon including playmobil fun park..sooooooo cool!!!  A definite must do for all European livers..hint hint!! :)

Ok so it's Friday and time for fun fun fun with Mama M and her cool clan.... she probably thinks I am nuts by the way but that's ok because as nuts as I am I am also fabulously fantastic!! Total horn tootin' going on over here but that is just how happy I am so here goes...

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself?

For real?!! Who doesn't?!!  I never feel guilty for buying what I call my "special groceries" stuff that everyone else in the house hates but I love love love!! Other then that every time I buy anything having to do with only me the guilt starts before I even get to the register. Yupp that's right folks I am one of those crazy women who goes around the store filling up her cart to only start dumping my guilt buys one by one until I usually end up at the register with 1 thing or sometimes nothing at all!!  Total crazy!!

2. How well do you know your neighbors?

I know my neighbors pretty well I guess. I know some of them are quiet, some are loud, some are nice, some are rude, some are young and some are old. Most of all I know that not one of them knows how to pay a bill on time....pay to pay for cleaning lady folks so get off your arses and pay me!!! Ughhhhh!!!

3. What age are you looking forward to being?

I know this is going to sound crazy but I am totally looking forward to being 50 yrs old. At that age my youngest will be off to college and no more kids to raise..woohoooo!!!!!  Let's go 50!!

4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why?

Heck nahhhhhhhhhh!!  You see living overseas we have basically like a p.o. box and we have to go to a different place to check our mail and then carry any packages all the way to our vehicles, drive home and then lug it all upstairs(3 stories in my case). I dream of the day I can greet the ups man at my door again..sighhhhhhhh!!!!

5. What is your earliest childhood memory?

Ok so I rememeber being around 2yrs old and riding on a big boat down the Rhein river and seeing castles and fireworks!! Wierd huh?!! Yupp my mom has never believed me that I remembered that even though it totally happened and I totally do remember it...sheeeesh!!

Bad blogger...bad, bad blogger!!

Ok so let's go back in time for just a minute..how many of you remember the movie "Gremlins"? Well then you will understand when I say my past weeks have been..trashed, trashed, trashed!!!  I totally loved that part!! :)
I have been so busy and swamped I really have not had time to do anything but what I had to...yupp no fun for me ya'll!  That was until yesterday when I went to a luncheon..a much needed break and I had a blast! Great people, good food and I laughed and laughed and laughed..oh yeah and won a raffle prize!! Woohoooo for me!! I never win stuff so I was totally excited!  I will take a pic and show you all later what I won.  So basically I have been busy and sorry I have been a bad blogger but  I have super pics for you today so that should make up for it right?!!!  *grins*

Ok so last weekend we decided to just get the heck out of town and headed off early one morning to go to Konstanz, Germany and Mainau Island. It was GORGEOUS!!! For real I could spend a week there...just beautiful!  Well you will see for yourself..first up is Sea life where we got to see some cool stuff..

So it was set up to look like the town above the tanks and everything in the tanks is what you would find in the Rhein river there.

This was my favorite little guy...how cute is he?!!  I just want to hug him!!!

This guy scared the batooties outta me!! Yupp we went in one of those tube things where they swim over your head and this guy came right up next to me and yes...I jumped!!!  Oyyyyy dang shark!!

How beautiful is this pic?!!!  It was so nice and relaxing just watching the boats fly by and seeing the calm of the river.

Next we headed to Mainau Island and here we are in front of the duck made of flowers.  There were so many beautiful things on this island and it truly was a fun time.

Here is the castle on the island. We lucked out and just happened to be there on a day when they were finishing up a classic car race. We got to watch everyone pass the finish line and see all the beautiful old cars!!

This was the gorgeous vineyard on the island..now as nice as it was there was no tasting of the wine!! I know I know what were they thinking right?!! Well let's just say we had a little tasting of our own when we picked a few grapes...shut your mouth yes I did it!!  They were dang sour too!!  We did finally head over the cafe on the island and buy some of their wine..it was good.





So once we left the island we headed back home. It was a very long day that started around 5am and ended back home around 11pm. Sunday we slept in..baaahaaahaaaa yeah right!! I wish!  Daggon body clock always wakes me up early...pooey on body clocks!

Ok so I will continue with out weekend tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy the pics and I will definitely be back tomorrow with more of our weekend and more pics.

PINT!!!!

Ok so I have been a weeee bit busy lately and haven't had time to blog. I know I know you are very disappointed with me...sighhhhhhh...I am doing the best I can so back off buster!!! :)  We had a long weekend and we made the most of our time and enjoyed every minute of it!!  One day of relaxing and getting the poor filthy sadly neglected house back in order, one day traveling out of town and exploring everything we could find, one day bowling and the last day playing at a fun park. Most of it was spent with dear friends but some of it was just us M's and we loved it all!!!  I will be telling you all about where we went and all of our adventures over this week but for now it is time for one of my favorite things in bloggerville *drumroll* Post it note Tuesday!!!!!!!
So here goes...

5 Question Friday!!

Yayyyyyyy and double Yayyyyyy!!  I am sooooooo happy that Friday finally got here!  I swear I didn't think I was ever going to see it again. Why is it when you wake up super early in the morning it seems that the days go by slower...ok ok don't get all smarty pants on me and say "because the earlier you wake up the longer the days are" I know that..duhhhh!!!  I am talking about making it through the first week of school with my kids all fine and dandy and we crashing into my bed every night like I moved a house that day..INSANE!!!!  I did make it through the week though and even managed to survive a few old bitties trying to take me down with their harsh words and bad attitudes!! Of course even though I try and try again there will apparently always be people in my life trying to stir up some kind of drama and me having to do like I always do..walk away with a smile on my face like I didn't even hear what they said!!  Seriously ya'll it is a lot harder then it sounds especially when people lie about you to others...breathe in, breathe out...not going there though I am better then that..yupp..I am good!!  No wait..I am FABULOUS!!!  I do not need anyone's approval to know who I am or what I am so all you mean spirited folks out there can keep that nonsense to yourselves because I am DONE with you all!!!!  So there!! haha on you!!

Ok sorry ya'll but I am excited for the weekend and Mr. M is off for a 4 day...Hallelujah!!!!!  The girls still have school today though so we actually get some time together with no kids..what to do..hmmmmm...PARTY!!!  hehe yeah right!  Errands it is!! lol






Now it's that time of the week where we all go over and visit Mama M not only because she is fabulous, funny and too darn cute but because we love her blog and her questions ..well let's just be honest we love them!!!  So here goes.....

1. What do you do when you have time to yourself?

I  have time to myself everyday when the girls go to school and Mr. M is at work. So basically I go to the gym, clean house, run errands, hang out with friends, go the doctor, go shopping, or anything else that needs to be done or I want to do. I love mommy time!!!

2. When you look out your kitchen window, what do you see?

Out my kitchen window I can see the park that is between our buildings. See here in mil housing overseas we live in stairwell apartments. It's so exciting..NOT and of course we live on the 3rd floor with no elevators ya'll..are you dying yet?!!!

3. Who/What would you want to be reincarnated as?

Ohh ok well this one if not obvious to you all is so dang easy for me...I want to be a little bitty bug..flea,knat, whatever is small and can't be seen so I can listen in on what everyone is saying and then I want to be sure I have a lot of mean freinds like bees,wasps,or mosquitos who will bite all the mean people in the world!!  Yupp that's all I can say about that ya'll it's been a long week!! sighhhhhhhhhh

4. What is your biggest pet peeve about other people's kids?

Wow again another easy one for me this week...that would be when people do not discipline their kids when needed!!  If your child is climbing on something they shouldn't be don't make ME tell them to get off of it do your dang job as a parent who by the way should want to keep their kids safe and tell them to get off of it already!!!!  It's not rocket science ya'll it's called being a parent...learn how to do it!!!

5. Regular or Diet soda?

Ok so I don't buy soda for our house. Occasionally we will have soda when we eat out or go somewhere where soda is the only option and in that case I always choose diet or the new stuff like coke zero.

What time is it?!!

Ok so Wednesdays usually are my ramble days right?!! Yupp you are so getting a ramble day folks!!

I spent all summer trying to keep my kids happy and busy and occupied all the while I was rushing around on a daily basis helping new people get settled and doing things for the PTSA for DD1's school.  The summer flew by so fast it was not even funny and I mean NOT funny!! Where did it go?!  I swear one day ran right into the other and I know somewhere in there we had a few trips and some fun but still..for real?!!!  I feel like I totally missed out on my summer. What happened to my sleeping in?  Where did my ME time go?!   Dagnabbit I missed a whole summer with the exception of Italy of course..which was FABULOUS if you didn't read my blog then you should really go back and read it!!  Why?! Because as I said it was fabulous..duh!!!

So Fall weather is here and school has started. The girls seem to really like their teachers which is a total bonus because all of us know if your kids doesn't like their teacher you are in for a loooong year!!  So we are doing great on that front so far(crossing fingers).

I am very busy with the PTSA and getting things accomplished..I swear it never ends with them!!  I love to volunteer and help out any way I can but sometimes it feels like everyone is doing whatever they want and I am stuck holding the ball on everything.  We have a fabulous President this year and I truly adore her. She has been right there with me all summer running our little tushies off and getting things ready for the upcoming year. The rest of them..well I really can't say anything about them because I haven't been with them enough to say anything about them really.  I am really hoping for a fabulous year and hoping that everything we have planned goes well for us. I can tell you this though folks...I will NEVER do this again!! Next time someone asks me to be on a PTSA board I will volunteer for some other job that doesn't take much work. Fundraising is a flipping killer!! sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Other then that I am busily trying to plan our Spring break for the school year and we are hoping to take a cruise as long as I can find what we want for a price I am willing to pay for it.  Hey anyone out there have a fabulous website I can check out?!  Any ideas for a 5 to 7 day Mediterranean cruise?   Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to have it booked before Christmas just to know when we are going and what all I still will need to do to get ready for it.
